“Bridges Through Yoga holds space for all people to explore and experience yoga in an environment without judgement or pretense. We co-create BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) centered classes and workshops outside of yoga studios; we also facilitate workshops about yoga and race inside the traditional studio environment.
One definition of yoga is to come together, to unite. One of the purposes and benefits of the practice is to release from the causes of suffering.
Our curriculum utilizes yoga as a tool to discuss racial and social justice and promote healing, incorporating all the facets of yoga: philosophy, postures, breathwork, mindfulness and meditation.”
